Calling all coffee and tea lovers! ☕🍵

Join us for a fun and creative evening making your very own original clay trivet using the sgraffito technique! Sgraffito is a cool, decorative method where designs are carved through a colored glaze to reveal the clay beneath, creating stunning, one-of-a-kind patterns and despite how intricate it looks, it’s surprisingly easy to learn.

In this workshop, each participant will design and carve a 6x6-inch ceramic tile, then we’ll attach a metal frame to turn it into a functional, artistic trivet—perfect for your morning coffee mug, your favorite teapot, or as a handmade gift for someone special. The finished piece will measure approximately 8x8 inches.

The instructor will have two coffee-themed designs to choose from, or you can create your own unique design. No drawing or ceramics experience necessary—just bring your love of coffee, tea, and creativity!

Completed pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 2–3 weeks after the workshop ends. All materials included.

Please note: These workshops are non-refundable after registration for any reason. If something unexpected comes up, you’re welcome to transfer your registration to a friend. Thank you for your understanding, our instructors purchase materials in advance, and registrations are limited.
