ALL NEW ! Printmaking - Intaglio & Monotype

In this 4-week class, you will learn the basics of intaglio and monotype printmaking: How to create and print your own designs using collograph and drypoint techniques, plus learn to use a printmaking press and experiment with colorful monotypes! We’ll also learn about design principles, color theory, and contemporary printmaking.
This workshops is suitable for a wide range of makers, from beginners with zero art background to experienced artists who want to try out intaglio & monotype printmaking – or get back into it!
Tools & Supplies:
Please bring a sketchbook/notebook and some basic sketching/writing implements.
All other tools and supplies for this class are provided. Reusable tools (drypoint needles, ink knives, etc.) are available for you to use during class, along with a tabletop etching press. Consumable materials (inks, paper, newsprint, matboard, plastic drypoint plates, etc.) are shared in common with other class participants and are covered by your $60 supply fee.
Cancellation Policy:
Once you register, no cancellations or refunds are permitted for any reason, unless the class is canceled due to low enrollment. In that case, you will be notified and fully refunded.
