Spring Break Art Adventure Camp (Ages 5-12) - Passport to Creativity

Pack your bags and get ready for an artistic journey around the globe! In this week-long camp, young artists will explore landmarks, customs, and traditions from countries near and far, using them as inspiration for exciting art projects. Together, we’ll discover the colorful and vibrant patterns of kente African fabrics, the intriguing Egyptian pyramids, the majesty of Mt. Fuji, and much more! Campers will also create travel-themed artworks that celebrate the adventure of exploring new places.
Campers must be at least 5 years old and enrolled in kindergarten on the first day of camp. Children will be grouped by age (5–8 and 9–12), and projects will be designed to build on fundamental art skills in a fun, supportive environment. Projects will be tailored for each age group.
Join us as we stamp our passports, spark our imaginations, and discover the world through art!
Before registering, please carefully review our cancellation policies. These policies allow us to continue providing high-quality camps for all families. We sincerely appreciate your understanding. https://whitepinestudios.org/art-adventure-camps/
We welcome all aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or needs individualized attention, please call the studio before enrolling in camp. Artists must be able to follow directions and work independently. Thank you.
To Help Prepare Your Child for Camp:
- Camp runs Monday–Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. On Friday, friends and family are invited to join campers at 3:00 pm for the ‘Art Show,’ a special time to showcase their creations. Camp concludes after the Art Show, and campers will take home all of their artwork.
- Please check in your camper by 8:55 am and pick up promptly at 4:00 pm. We do not offer before- or after-care for campers.
- Parking is available in the lot behind the studio, with limited parking on Michigan Avenue at the front entrance.
- Campers should bring a nut-free lunch, two snacks, and a refillable water bottle with a lid. All personal belongings should be labeled with campers’ first and last names. Food may not be shared among campers.
- Campers should bring sunscreen, sneakers, and sun hats for outside break time, weather permitting.
- Please review the Liability Waiver Form. By signing at registration you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in the Liability and Release Waiver Form.
- Paint can leave stains, so campers should wear old clothing or bring a smock or old t-shirt that may remain at the studio. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.
Relevant Feedback
My daughter (6) had the best time at the spring break camp, and, as always, I’m amazed by the art pieces at the art show at the end of the week. She got to learn new techniques and improve her skills, while also learning about holidays and cultures around the globe. My daughter absolutely adores Ms Joanne and all the teachers, and has learned so much from them. They always greet her with so much warmth and have really gotten to know her. This is a very special place and we are so lucky to have it in Saline!
Our kiddo came home exhausted each day, and was excited to go back.
