Summer Art Adventures - Ceramic Handbuilding - Pottery Palooza

Get ready to dig into clay and let your creativity take shape in this week-long hands-on pottery adventure! Each day, campers will explore a different ceramic building technique while crafting unique and imaginative pieces. No experience needed—just a willingness to get a little muddy and a lot creative!
This camp is perfect for beginning potters and also great for those with some experience who want to take their skills—and their projects—to the next level.
- Monday: Pinch Pot Creatures – Start the week by turning simple pinch pots into wild, silly, or spooky creatures!
- Tuesday: Coiled Containers – Learn the art of coiling to build funky and functional vases, bowls, or baskets.
- Wednesday: Soft Slab Habitats – Use soft slabs to design whimsical homes, hideouts, or animal abodes.
- Thursday: Hard Slab Plants & Trees – Build upright with hard slabs to create sculptural trees, plants, or forest scenes.
- Friday: Glaze Day! – Add a splash of color as we glaze and finish our ceramic masterpieces.
Join us for a clay-filled week of creative discovery. Pieces will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup approximately 30 days after camp!
(Artists MUST BE AGE 7 on the first day of camp, and no older than age 13.)
