Intermediate Watercolor Painting
Ready to take your watercolor skills to the next level? Our 5-week Intermediate Watercolor Painting class is designed to help you build on the foundations you learned in our Introduction to Watercolor class, while expanding your creative toolkit. Whether you’re looking to refine your technique or try new materials, this class offers a hands-on approach to pushing your artistic boundaries.
In this course, we’ll explore a variety of mixed-media techniques, blending traditional watercolors with colored pencils, markers, and ink. Under the guidance of our experienced instructor, you'll learn how to combine these materials to create texture, contrast, and expressive mark-making that will bring depth and energy to your paintings.
Throughout the five weeks, you’ll work on small compositions, diving deeper into color theory, composition, and other techniques, all while continuing to develop your personal style. This class is perfect for anyone looking to expand their creative practice and gain the confidence to explore new artistic possibilities.
All materials are provided, so just bring your enthusiasm to create!
Note: While students from our Introduction to Watercolor class are encouraged to join, this course is also open to those with basic watercolor experience.
