Dive into the bold and saturated world of alcohol inks in this two-part creative journey! Beginners welcome!

Part 1: Learn the fundamentals of working with alcohol ink, including how the medium flows on yupo paper and various techniques for creating stunning abstract and organic designs. Experiment with a 3 color pallette selected by the instructor, and discover endless creative possibilities.

Part 2: Build on the skills learned from Part 1 as we explore creating florals, landscapes, and refined abstract pieces. Enhance your artwork with the techniques learned to bring your visions to life. At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with four 5x5 natural shadowboxes to take home, ready for you to paint if you wish to customize the boxes. The instructor will mount your tiles in the shadowboxes for you to take home that evening.

To ensure an immersive experience, we are limiting this workshop to 12 participants. The workshop requires a 5 participant minimum to run. Alcohol ink has a distinct odor that some individuals may find strong. If you're sensitive to odors, we recommend bringing a mask for your comfort and wear old clothing.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This two part workshop is scheduled for Saturday, January 25th and February 1. However, in the event of inclement weather on either date, a make up will be scheduled for Saturday, February 8th. By registering, you confirm your availability for all three dates, as workshops with visiting instructors are non-refundable for any reason after registration. Thank you for your understanding.
