Summer Art Adventure Camp - Handbuilding Ceramics - It's All About Cats and Dogs!
Join TJ Pottery for five mornings from August 19-23, 9am to Noon! Over the span of five days, you’ll have cat and dog themed clay projects making silly trinket dishes, water bowls, cat face masks, sculptures, and welcome signs! End summer with an adventure of cats, dogs, and clay!
CAMPERS MUST BE AGE FIVE ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP AND HAVE COMPLETED A YEAR OF KINDERGARTEN.
Camp runs from 9 am to noon Monday-Friday. Please check your camper in by 8:55 am. Pick up promptly at noon. We do not offer before or after care for campers.
Parking is located in the lot behind the studio and limited parking on Michigan Avenue at the front entrance to the studio.
Campers should bring a nut-free snack, and a refillable water bottle with a lid. Campers’ first and last names should be on all personal belongings. Food may not be shared among campers.
The glaze we use can leave stains, so campers should wear old clothing or bring along a smock or an old t-shirt that may be left at the studio. Campers should also wear comfortable closed toed shoes.
All projects will be fired by the instructor in her kiln and returned to the studio within two weeks. Parents will be notified by email when projects are ready for pick up.
We welcome all aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or needs individualized attention, please call the studio before you register. Thank you.
