Summer Art Adventure Camp - Animals in the Movies - 9-13

Embark on a whimsical artistic journey as we delve into the enchanting world of beloved movie animals! Get ready to unleash your creativity by crafting vibrant 2D and captivating 3D artworks inspired by iconic characters from Madagascar, 101 Dalmatians, Finding Nemo, and many more movie classics. Campers will not only have a blast bringing these beloved creatures to life but will also explore a diverse range of artistic mediums, including paint, markers, colored pencils, collage, and the exciting realm of mixed media. Join us for a fun exploration of creativity, where the world of movies and art collide in a masterpiece-making adventure!

Art Adventure Camps are filled with fun and creative art projects. We only use the highest quality 2D and 3D mediums to give your child the best art experience. Our art instructors are graduates of the University of Michigan School of Art and Design and have studied abroad at SACI in Florence, Italy.

Camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday. Please check your camper in by 8:55 am. Pick up promptly at 4 pm. We do not offer before or after care for campers.

Parking is located in the lot behind the studio and limited parking on Michigan Avenue at the front entrance to the studio.

Campers should bring a nut-free lunch, 2 snacks, and a refillable water bottle with a lid. Campers’ first and last names should be on all personal belongings. Food may not be shared among campers.

Campers should bring sunblock, sneakers, and sun hats for outside break time, weather permitting.

The paint we use can leave stains, so campers should wear old clothing or bring along a smock or an old t-shirt that may be left at the studio. Campers should also wear comfortable closed toed shoes.

On the last day of camp, parents are invited to the studio at 3 pm for an “art show.” This is a special time for campers to share their work with their parents, grandparents, siblings, etc., and an opportunity for you to speak to our instructors.

We welcome all aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or needs individualized attention, please call the studio before you register. Thank you.

Please carefully review our cancellation/transfer policies. https://whitepinestudios.org/art-adventure-camps/
