Summer Art Adventure Camp - Fun Under The Sun - Ages 9-13

Grab your sunglasses and get ready to embark on an artistic journey that explores the wonders of the beach and the mysteries that lie beneath the ocean waves.During this camp, we'll don our creative hats and experiment with a dazzling array of mediums – from vibrant paints to textured collages, colorful markers, and more. Campers will unleash their imagination and artistic flair as they create unique pieces inspired by the joy of beach adventures and the enchanting mysteries of the deep blue sea. But that's not all – buckle up for an underwater expedition where we'll explore rare sea creatures that inhabit the ocean's depths. And who knows? Along the way, we might just stumble upon mythical sea monsters that fuel the imagination and add an extra touch of magic to our artistic endeavors.

We only use the highest quality 2D and 3D mediums to give your child the best art experience. Our art instructors are graduates of the University of Michigan School of Art and Design and have studied abroad at SACI in Florence, Italy.

Camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday. Please check your camper in by 8:55 am. Pick up promptly at 4 pm. We do not offer before or after care for campers.

Parking is located in the lot behind the studio and limited parking on Michigan Avenue at the front entrance to the studio.

Campers should bring a nut-free lunch, 2 snacks, and a refillable water bottle with a lid. Campers’ first and last names should be on all personal belongings. Food may not be shared among campers.

Campers should bring sunblock, sneakers, and sun hats for outside break time, weather permitting.

The paint we use can leave stains, so campers should wear old clothing or bring along a smock or an old t-shirt that may be left at the studio. Campers should also wear comfortable closed toed shoes.

On the last day of camp, parents are invited to the studio at 3 pm for an “art show.” This is a special time for campers to share their work with their parents, grandparents, siblings, etc., and an opportunity for you to speak to our instructors.

We welcome all aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or needs individualized attention, please call the studio before you register. Thank you.
