Summer Art Adventures - Sci-Art Ages 5-8
Prepare for a prehistoric plunge as we dive into the world of dinosaurs. Launch into outer space, where galaxies and planets become the backdrop for our imaginative creations. Gear up for a futuristic twist as we delve into the realm of robots, unravel the mysteries of human anatomy, and explore other fascinating scientific topics. Throughout the week, our campers will not only unleash their artistic prowess but also absorb cool facts and tidbits about the scientific wonders that inspire their creations. Join us for a week filled with exploration, discovery, and the joy of expressing creativity in the wondrous world of science-inspired art!
Summer Art Adventures are filled with fun and creative art projects. We only use the highest quality 2D and 3D mediums to give your child the best art experience. Our art instructors are graduates of the University of Michigan School of Art and Design and have studied abroad at SACI in Florence, Italy.
Our program runs from 9 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday. Please check your child in by 8:55 am. Pick up promptly at 4 pm.
Parking is located in the lot behind the studio and limited parking on Michigan Avenue at the front entrance to the studio.
Artists should bring a nut-free lunch, 2 snacks, and a refillable water bottle with a lid. First and last names should be on all personal belongings. Food may not be shared.
Artists should bring sunblock, sneakers, and sun hats for outside break time, weather permitting.
On the last day of the week parents are invited to the studio at 3 pm for an “art show.” This is a special time for artists to share their work with their parents, grandparents, siblings, etc., and an opportunity for you to speak to our instructors.
We welcome all aspiring artists of all ages and abilities. However, if your child requires additional assistance or needs individualized attention, please call the studio before you register. Thank you.

My 5 year old had a a spectacular time at art camp this year! As always, I’m amazed out how much art they made and how much progress she makes each week! My daughter looks up to the counselors so much, for both their artistic and creative skills, and their kind hearts. Joanne pours so much love into her relationships with each of the kids. Whitepine summer camp is a magical place!!
Exceptional program !
